MARKET COMMENTS
Stocker and feeder steers were $2-$3 lower. Stocker and feeder heifers were $3-$4 lower. There were a few 400-500lbs heifers bringing up to $108. Slaughter cows were $4 lower and packer bulls were $1 lower. Pairs and bred cows were steady.
Cattle lost ground again this week due to the uncertainty of the stock market and declining cattle futures. With cattle and grains both experiencing limit losses it is impossible for the buyers to figure the value of cattle. We will do our best to keep you informed of the market changes.
The
fundamentals of supply and demand still look favorable to me.
We are now accepting consignments for our year end replacement special. Consign early!
Double Creek Farms and Roden Angus will have their Annual Angus bull sale Sat Nov 29th.
We
receive cattle Sunday from 1 pm till 6 pm, all day Monday and Tuesday.
Bosque County Cowboy church is currently meeting at Meridian Livestock Comm. 10:00am every Sunday. Everyone is welcome – come as you are.
